Carbon Management

Carbon management is a core requirement of the Climate Change Bill 2008. Businesses and properties will be required to reduce their carbon emissions over 3 yearly periods commencing in 2009 by between 26-32% by 2020. This will reduce both energy use and costs.

Carbon management is integral to our Environmental Management Systems which are externally certified to ISO 14001 an international standard by the British Standards Institute.

For those companies on a limited budget our EMS can be phased in under BS8555 to enable small and medium sized businesses to put an EMS in place.

We use Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and Display Energy Certificates (DECs) as well as other environmental benchmarks in order to monitor the performance of our carbon management strategy.
